We really enjoyed meeting some of you on Saturday and discussing the future of Alkerden Hub! If you missed this session but would still like to have a chat with us, we are holding a further online session on Zoom on 4th November, 6:30-8pm . Link to sign up HERE .
You can also find information on our latest design proposal and give us feedback HERE . Public consultation for Alkerden Hub will be held on this platform until 15th November 2021 .
Alkerden Hub will be the main community hub for the whole of Ebbsfleet Garden City, situated in the heart of Alkerden Market Centre at Whitecliffe. It will provide a range of facilities including a Life Long Learning Centre, library, health facilities, performance spaces and a faith centre.
Landowner Henley Camland is working in partnership with Ebbsfleet Development Corporation and wants your help to understand what kind of facilities you need as a local or prospective resident. Your feedback will help us co-locate community and cultural facilities and give us the opportunity to create a vibrant and sustainable building that will support the growing community and meet local need.
Public consultation for Alkerden Hub will be held on this platform from 16th October to 15th November 2021 , where we will be adding more information on our latest design proposal HERE and you will be able to give us feedback and let us know how you would like to be involved in the future .
We are also holding two events where you can speak to us directly:
- In person event: Saturday 16th October 2021, 1:30-4:30pm, Castle Hill Community Centre, Castle Hill, Ebbsfleet Valley, DA10 1BR
- Online event: Thursday 4th November 2021, 6:30-8:00pm, Zoom. Sign up HERE .
EDC has now launched our Residents Satisfaction Survey and we would be grateful if you could take the time to complete the questionnaire.
This will help EDC and our partners to have a snapshot of what is working and what isn’t in the Garden City and surrounding areas and to give us the information that can help shape our future planning and delivery to meet local need and ambition. The survey will be run every 2 years to help track our progress.
You can access the questionnaire here.
